The Northern California Group Psychotherapy Society (NCGPS) is a professional organization for therapists interested in group psychotherapy. Our members are therapists from all of the mental health disciplines, including Marriage and Family Therapists, Psychiatric Nurses, Psychiatrists, Psychologists and Social Workers.

An affiliate society of the American Group Psychotherapy Association (AGPA), NCGPS provides a number of valuable services to group therapists, other mental health professionals and the community at large. NCPGS offers a number of training and networking events throughout the year.

In addition to information about NCGPS, this website provides a resource for those interested in finding a psychotherapy group in the Bay Area and throughout Northern California, as well as information about how group therapy works.
